In case you haven’t heard, a UK YouTuber by the name of Mat Armstrong is on an absolutely wild mission, repairing a crashed Bugatti Chiron.
Only a handful of Chirons were ever made, and Bugatti is famously protective of them. In fact, Bugatti insists that no one is allowed to repair a Chiron except Bugatti themselves. They even refused to sell Mat parts for the rebuild. The CEO of Bugatti went as far as making a video explaining why it’s impossible for anyone outside Bugatti to repair one.
But Mat wasn’t having any of it.
Instead of backing down, he’s attempting something insane—manufacturing the parts from scratch, including 3D-printing components just to bring the car back to life.
It’s bold. It’s controversial. And it’s one of the most daring automotive rebuilds ever attempted.
You can catch the entire journey on Mat Armstrong’s YouTube channel.
