I lived through another closing shift π
I'm a delivery driver making $25-30 an hour. If I was making that much twenty years ago, I would have lived comfortably and be debt free.
That's just not the current economic situation anymore. Money is worth so much less and everything cost exponentially more. I really wish I had the foresight in my youth to develop higher paying skills, but it's more practical and healthy to plan how to move forward than to live in the past.
With AI replacing so many jobs within the next 10 years, I'm not entirely sure which direction I will take. I do know that property, precious metals, and crypto are essential assets that I need to keep saving to acquire. Very different times ahead for everyone everywhere!
