Where the magic happens. I was asked why don’t I build a kit or help others run WVO. A simple search would find u kits out of Germany, also I have been running WVO workshops for over a decade. In that time 1 person that I know of has made the effort to follow through, but they don’t do it anymore. For me now it’s a simple process that is mostly automated, but u still need to build a relationship with suppliers build a processing plant like the one in the photo and be prepared to get oil on all your clothing.
Funny what a motivator being hit in the pocket is. My motivation was to be able to look my son in the eye and be able to say I did my best to reduce my carbon footprint. Seems like it is now paying off in another way. When I started doing this diesel was 0.90c. People bent out of shape I hope diesel hits 4$ well it’s nothing personal and I will no doubt be paying extra in other ways but when I use 100-200 litres a week but I am being rewarded for doing my bit for the environment. We also in the past have heated our home and made hot water. My Marshall heater is about to be recommissioned in Westport to run a spa and provide radiator heating and hot water.
