💪Staying Active in Your 60's
One thing I’ve really come to value in my early 60s is staying active. Not to prove anything to anyone, just to keep moving, keep feeling good, and keep a bit of strength and energy in the tank.
For me, it’s the simple things. A bike ride, a swim, a session at the gym, a bit of boxing or karate, fresh air, and staying in the habit of doing something rather than nothing. You don’t have to be chasing perfection. You just have to keep showing up.
The older I get, the more I realise that movement matters. It clears the head, lifts the mood, and helps you stay connected to life instead of slowing down too much. Doesn’t have to be fancy. Just steady, real, and part of everyday life.
That’s how I see it anyway. Keep moving, keep living, and don’t give in to the idea that age means sitting still.
