Tesla Optimus Gen 3.5 Enters Pilot Production in Texas Gigafactory
Tesla has begun limited pilot production of the Optimus Gen 3.5 humanoid robot at its Texas Gigafactory, with the upgraded model featuring 30% better dexterity, faster learning from video demonstrations, and built-in safety protocols for side-by-side work with humans. The company plans to deploy the first 500 units internally for factory tasks by June 2026.
